Bubble prayers

The words

Praying Thankful Prayers With Bubbles

You Will Need:

Some bubble liquid and something to blow the bubbles with.

You could even make some with washing up liquid and shape some wire if you want to!

A hand holding a small bubble wand. There is a bubble forming, but not yet left the wand.

From the Bible:

Never stop praying.

Give thanks no matter what happens.

1 Thessalonians Chapter 5: Verses 17 & 18 (NIRV)

Ponder:
Have you ever clapped because you liked what someone had done and you were thankful?
Maybe, in 2020 you stepped outside your door to clap all the people who helped us through the Covid virus – because you were thankful.

There are lots of things to be thankful for:

Three stick cartoon children. one is holding a picture of a dog, another is banging a drum and the other holding a football

Your favourite pets, instrument or toy.

Three stick cartoon children. one is holding a picture of a rainbow, another is in a skateboard and the other holding a jigsaw piece

Games or activities of any kind.

Three stick cartoon children. one is holding a banana, another is eating breakfast and the other eating sweets

Your favourite food or sweets!

Three stick cartoon people. Two are grandparents, one is a child holding a picture of a house.

Your grown ups or your home

Ponder Some More:
What do you want to thank God for? There are so many things!
Have a chat with your grown-up about it if you want to.

Pray:
We are going to thank God by bursting the bubbles as we clap.

Ask someone to blow some bubbles for you – enough for everyone taking part!
Clap your hands over the bubbles to burst them.
As you do this, shout, sign or whisper what you want to say thank you for.
